I like to eat healthy. Everyone should know how yummy Morningstar Farm veggie burgers are. I was lucky enough to get in on a BzzAgent campaign and received a coupon for a free box as well as coupons to share with my friends and family. Just because something is "meatless" doesn't mean it can't taste great too! Morningstar Farms burgers tastes wonderful and they're not greasy, meat-laden piles of flesh! They're almost as good as the real thing! When you put this burger on a bun with avocado and sprouts, then top it with spinach and tomato, it is almost heavenly! Morningstar Farms claims that they have 74% less fat than a beef burger and they have more than ten grams of protein. What a treat! Thanks BzzAgent!

USPS Status: Delivered - Of course I didn't receive it.

Postmaster:
I have already left a note in the outgoing box but I am leaving a second and more explanatory letter.
As soon as I came home I checked the USPS website to see whether or not the package I am expecting was the one that was SUPPOSED to be in box 1P, the box that was empty when I opened it.  Why would a carrier leave a key in my mailbox for an empty locker?  As it turns out, it was my expected package.  So where is it?
I would like to understand why I have a package, to be delivered to me, that shows on the USPS website as delivered then, ON THE SAME DAY, the mail carrier left a key in my box for locker 1P and THE LOCKER WAS EMPTY?
Excuse me for jumping to conclusions; however, I have had packages stolen by a local USPS carrier on two separate occasions.   One of the packages was for merchandise that I paid more than $300 for; I was never in any way, shape, or form reimbursed by USPS or the seller. Fortunately, that was not in this area but it doesn’t leave me with a feeling of trust for USPS nonetheless.
This doesn’t add up, though.  Why would the carrier leave a key in my box?  How does this play out?  A carrier says I actually did receive the package and now I am not telling the truth about it?  That seems like more trouble than what it would be worth, doesn’t it?
As soon as I checked my mail tonight, around 8:00 PM, I immediately wrote a note on the back of a piece of junk mail and stuck it in the outgoing box.  That note explained that the carrier left a key in my box and it opened 1P, which was empty.  I also left my phone number on that note and asked for a phone call.
Did the carrier give my package to someone else?  That would be incredibly inept; of course, leaving a box empty for the postal customer to worry (me) is also incredibly inept.
We at 239 Johnson Street have a lot of items delivered by USPS, FedEx, and UPS.  Most items are delivered by USPS.  We have medication and supplies for Russell Copen sent by the VA via USPS.  We have orders from around the internet as well.
This particular order was a box of very expensive luxury cosmetics from Urban Decay.  The package was sent from Florida.  I had the option of using USPS or UPS for delivery and of course I’m kicking myself in the ass now for choosing USPS but it was faster.
This whole situation leaves three questions.
1.       Why was a key for an empty locker (1P) left in my box?
2.       Why does the USPS website show my package as delivered?  Clearly, it was not delivered else I would not waste my time with this letter.
3.       Where IS my package and when will I receive it?
Please resolve this issue ASAP.  I don’t need to hear that, “it was lost and we’ll need time to investigate and find it.”  I don’t care about that.  All I care about is that I receive my package and in all honesty, I don’t even care why a carrier would leave me a key for an empty locker.
I also need reassurance that any future mail I receive will be ACTUALLY RECEIVED.  We need to find a way to work together so that this does not happen again.
I am enclosing a printout of the USPS website, Track & Confirm, page that shows my package was delivered.
Please give me a call at 720-266-3831 so that we may further discuss this issue.
Sincerely,
Karen
